Tour Plan

Day 1 Marrakech - High Atlas - Aït Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose Valley - Dades Valley (350 kms)

Pick-up at 08:00 h in the Jemaa el-Fna Square or at your accommodation in Marrakech. We will begin our route from Father's Day long weekend towards the Merzouga desert, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains and crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass, to 2,260 meters altitude, with stops to enjoy spectacular panoramic views. If you wish, we will visit one argan oil cooperativewhere you can learn about the production process and the many benefits of this precious natural product. We will continue south, traveling along scenic roads through Berber villages like Telouet, until we reach the Ounila Valley and the village of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will take a walking tour of its famous KasbahDeclared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this enclave has been the setting for films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy either Sahara. In Ait Ben Haddou we will stop for lunch before continuing our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the City of Cinema, from where large expeditions to the desert depart. In Ouarzazate we will optionally visit the film studios (entrance €8/person) and the Kasbah of Taourirt (Entrance €2, optional guide €10). If you prefer, you can limit your visit to panoramic photos, as this is sufficient to enjoy the place. Our route will continue along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs until the Valley of the Roses (May season) and the rest of the year we can visit rosewater cooperatives if you're interested. Later, we'll arrive at the Dades ValleyWe'll be staying in a hotel with the best views of the valley from your room. You'll have the option of taking a walk through the valley at sunset. Hotel accommodation with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 2 Dades Valley - Tinghir - Todra Valley and Gorges - Touroug - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert - Camel trek - Overnight in a Berber tent camp (330 km)

After breakfast, we will head towards Todra (Tinghir) and to the precious Todra Valleywhere we will make a scenic stop to admire and photograph this spectacular setting. We will visit the Todra Gorgeswith its impressive vertical walls that narrow as we go further. We'll drop you off at the entrance to the gorge so you can walk at your own pace and we'll pick you up at the exit. We will continue our journey through several Berber peoples...like Tinjdad, until we reach Malaab. There we will have the opportunity to visit a Berber women's shop, where you can try on the traditional clothing to take photos, as well as buy souvenirs, gifts, typical desert turbans, or to take a henna tattoo. We will continue towards Tourougwhere we'll stop for lunch, and then head to ErfoudFamous for its artisanal production of marble and fossils. Weather permitting, you can take an optional tour to learn about their craftsmanship. Finally, we will arrive at the imposing dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). We'll leave the vehicle there to get on board. dromedaries (8x8) and enjoy the sunset among the dunes, an unforgettable spectacle. We will spend the night in Traditional tents in the desertEnjoying the peace and immensity of this unique landscape while gazing at a magical starry sky. The evening includes Dinner and live Berber music show, with drums around the bonfire. Dinner and accommodation in Berber tents in the Erg Chebbi desert – an unforgettable experience under the stars.

Day 3 Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tazarine - Nkob (230 kms)

We will get up early to contemplate the sunrise from the top of the Erg Chebbi dunesA magical experience that fills the desert with light and color. Afterwards, we will enjoy the breakfast and you will have the option to practice sandboarding on the dunes. We will return later. camels or in 4x4 to the point where your driver/guide. If you wish, you can make one Optional excursion in quads or buggies through the Erg Chebbi dunes (not included in the price: €40 per hour in single quad, €60 in double quad, €120 per hour in double buggy, with guide and gasoline included). If we coincide with market days (Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday), you can enjoy the liveliest atmosphere; on other days the market remains open, although less crowded. We will take a walking tour of the souk, approximately one hour long, where you will find Spices, dates, local crafts, jewelry, and animalsA unique opportunity to experience the daily life of the local people. Before leaving the village, we will take a stop to photograph the famous “gateway to the desert”. After traversing the arid and fascinating landscapes of pre-desertwe will arrive at Alnifwhere we will pause for the lunch. An hour later, we will continue towards Nkob, a picturesque village located between the Ziz Valley and Draa ValleyKnown as the “city of 45 kasbahs,” it is surrounded by two palm-fringed oases. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a Welcome tea by the pool, and you'll have time to relax or take a leisurely stroll around the village. Hotel accommodation in Nkob with dinner and breakfast.

Day 4 Nkob - Draa Valley - Anti Atlas - Ouarzazate - Marrakech (325 kms)

After breakfast, We left the hotel heading towards the Draa Valley, where we will make a stop to admire the stunning views of this valleywhich stretches alongside the Draa River, the longest in Morocco. This river flows through much of the country into Mauritania and has a branch that reaches White Beach in Agdz. You will have time to Take photographs and enjoy the scenery.. We will continue crossing the Anti-Atlas by the Ait Saouen pass (1,660 meters altitude) until reaching Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and a city of cinema. From there, we will continue our route through the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with spectacular panoramic views of mountains and valleys until reaching Marrakech. Upon your arrival, we will drop you off at the most accessible point by vehicle and contact your accommodation staff to arrange a welcome. You will have the free afternoon for a stroll, to enjoy the atmosphere of the Jemaa el-Fna square and have dinner at one of their restaurants, thus concluding our services.
