Day 1 Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport - Transfer to your accommodation

Upon your arrivalOur driver/guide will be waiting to transfer you comfortably to your accommodation in the medina. Once settled in, you'll have free time to start discovering Marrakech at your own pace: you can stroll through its lively streets, get lost in the bustle of the souks, or simply soak up the city's magical atmosphere.In the evening, we recommend having dinner at the famous Jemaa el-Fna Squarewhere you'll find a wide variety of stalls and street performers. The area is very safe and perfect for a first taste of Marrakech. Accommodation: Traditional riad with breakfast included.

Day 2 Marrakech - High Atlas - Aït Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose Valley - Dades Valley (350 kms)

In the morning, at 8:00 am, we will pick you up at the agreed point in Marrakech to begin the 8-day, 7-night trip to the Sahara Desert through southern Morocco during the Constitution or Purísima long weekend in December. We will take the road towards the High Atlas, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka PassThe highest mountain pass in North Africa (2,260 meters). During the ascent, there will be several stops to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views and take photos of the valleys and mountains. Our first visit will be to a Women's argan oil cooperativewhere we will discover the artisanal production process and the many properties of argan for the skin and health. We will continue towards the Ounila ValleyA picturesque journey through Berber villages, until arriving at midday at fortified village of Aït Ben HaddouDeclared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. You will have time for lunch and to explore the kasbah, famous for serving as the setting for numerous international films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After that, we will head to Ouarzazate, known as the city of cinema. Here you can choose to visit the film studios (approx. €8 entrance fee per person) or the Kasbah of Taourirt (Entrance €2, guide service separate €10). For photography enthusiasts, the cityscape and kasbahs are perfect for capturing unique memories. We will continue the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs until Skoura and we'll make a brief stop at the Valley of the Roses. If you travel in May, you can enjoy the Rose FestivalThe rest of the year it is possible to visit rosewater shops and cooperatives. Finally, we will arrive at the Dades ValleyWe'll be staying in a hotel with spectacular views. If you'd like, you can take a short walk around the area to a nearby waterfall. Accommodation: Hotel in the Dades Valley with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 3 Dades Valley - Tinghir - Todra Valley and Gorges - Touroug - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert - Camel trek - Overnight in a Berber tent camp (330 km)

After breakfast, we began our journey towards Todra (Tinghir) and the precious Todra Valleymaking a scenic stop to take photos of the landscapes and the imposing Todra Gorgeswhere you can stroll through the heart of the gorge while enjoying its vertical walls and stunning natural surroundings. At the end of the walk, our vehicle will pick you up to continue the route. We continue going through Berber peoples like Tinjdad, until reaching Malaabwhere you can visit a Berber women's shop. There you will have the opportunity to try on traditional costumes, pose for photos in traditional Berber clothing and with the Berber flag, and purchase unique handcrafted souvenirs from the area. We will continue towards Tourougwhere we'll stop for lunch, and then we'll arrive at ErfoudKnown for its production of fossils and handcrafted marble, this town offers a unique opportunity for a quick visit if time allows, offering a glimpse into this interesting local trade. Finally, we will delve into the Merzouga desert (Erg Chebbi)where we will exchange the vehicle for the camels (8×8) to enjoy the sunset over the dunesa magical experience that culminates with the arrival at tent camp. There awaits you An unforgettable night under the starswith a traditional dinner and a show live Berber music with drums, and the warmth of the bonfire amidst the silence and tranquility of the desert. Accommodation: Night in tents in the Erg Chebbi desert, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4 Merzouga - 4x4 excursion around the Merzouga desert - Dakar Rally track - Visit to the Desert Nomads - Abandoned village (Mifis) - Khamlia - Taouz - Ouzina village - Lunch at a Berber family's home - Henna tattoo - Sunset in the Ouzina desert (80 km)

We'll wake up early to enjoy an unforgettable sunrise from the top of a dune. After breakfast, you'll have the option to practice Sandboarding in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Afterwards we will return by camel or 4x4 to the meeting point with our driver, and we will begin the 4x4 route around the Merzouga desert. If you like, you can add one Optional excursion in quads or buggies through the Erg Chebbi dunes (not included in the price: €40 for single quad / €60 for double quad / €120 for double buggy, with guide and fuel included). We will continue to the nomadic desert camps, where we will be welcomed with traditional tea. An authentic experience to share moments with these families and learn about their way of life. (A minimum tip of €5 is recommended). The next stop will be the abandoned mining village of MifisA place steeped in history. You'll have free time to wander among its old mines and trenches, still in artisanal operation, and from the top you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the desert. Later we will get to KhamliaA village inhabited by the Gnawa, descendants of former sub-Saharan slaves. There, you will be welcomed with their hospitality and spiritual music, where you can enjoy traditional dances and songs while sipping mint tea (the famous “Berber whisky”). If you wish, you can purchase a CD of their music (€10) or leave a small tip (€5). From Khamlia we will head towards Taouz and we will continue until Ouzina, an authentic and isolated Berber village in the heart of the desert. At lunchtime, we will taste the Berber pizza at a local family's home, accompanied by salad, noodles, and welcome tea. Afterwards, you'll have time to relax or, if you wish, make your own food. traditional henna tattoo (Tipping the specialist is recommended). It will also be possible to stroll through the Ouzina oasis to learn about the lives of people in this desert region. In the afternoon, we will head to our hotel in OuzinaLocated 2 km from the village. After settling in, you'll have several options to enjoy the sunset: Hike up to a nearby mountain (45 min up and 40 min down) to admire an unforgettable panoramic view in the complete silence of the desert. Walk to the dunes of Erg Ouzina, a paradise of virgin and wild sand. Relax in the hotel pool or on its panoramic terrace, enjoying the sunset over the dunes. The day ends with dinner and accommodation in a hotel in the Ouzina desert, surrounded by a unique and unforgettable landscape. Accommodation: Hotel in Ouzina with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 5 Ouzina - Taouz - Rissani - Alnif - Tazarine - Nkob (280 kms)

We will wake up to have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before embarking on our journey towards Nkob. The first stop will be in Rissani, one of the oldest cities in Morocco, cradle of the Alaouite dynasty and the former residence of the sultans. If your visit coincides with a market day (Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday), you can experience the lively and colorful atmosphere of its souk; it's also open on other days, although less crowded. We'll take an approximately one-hour walking tour of the market, where you'll find Dates from the area, spices, handicrafts, animals and traditional jewelry, a unique opportunity to discover daily life and local customs. On the way out of Rissani, we will make a stop to photograph the famous “gateway to the desert”And then we will continue our journey through arid but charming pre-desert landscapes, with picturesque villages dotting the road. We will arrive at Alnif, where we will stop for lunch and recharge our batteries. After an hour's journey, we will reach Nkob, a village situated between the Ziz Valley and the Draa Valley, known as the “city of 45 kasbahs”. Surrounded by oases with palm trees, this place captivates with its changing colors at sunset and its narrow streets full of history. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a welcome tea by the hotel pool, where you will have free time to relax, take a swim or go for a walk around the village at your leisure. Day 6 Nkob - Draa Valley - Anti Atlas - Ouarzazate - Marrakech (325 kms)

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and head towards Drâa ValleyA vast oasis stretching along Morocco's longest river. We'll stop to admire its breathtaking scenery, where the river meanders through palm groves and past adobe kasbahs. It's the perfect spot to take in panoramic views, capture unforgettable photographs, and soak up the tranquility of this historic valley, which in ancient times was an important caravan route to Timbuktu. Next, we will cross the mountains of Anti-Atlas by the port of Ait Saouen, located at an altitude of 1,660 meters, until reaching Ouarzazate, known as “the gateway to the desert” and famous for its kasbahs and film studios. From there we will continue the route towards the High Atlascrossing the imposing Tizi nTichka passAt 2,260 meters, it's the highest mountain pass in North Africa. Along the way, we'll enjoy spectacular mountain scenery, with valleys, Berber villages, and panoramic curves that invite you to stop and admire the surroundings. Upon arriving at MarrakechWe will take you to the nearest point to the riad, where the accommodation staff will come out to meet you. You will have the afternoon free to stroll through the city, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Jamaa el Fna square and have dinner at one of its traditional restaurants or outdoor food stalls. Day 7 Marrakech - If you're interested in returning, this guided walking tour with a local guide is available online with FREE TOUR - Free afternoon

After breakfast, at 09:00 h, will begin guided tour of Marrakech with a Free Tour. (You can easily book it online, as there are numerous platforms that offer this service; this way you can choose the one you like best). The departure will be on foot from your accommodation towards the famous Jemaa el Fna Square. The approximate duration of the tour is about 4 hoursDuring this time you will discover the main historical, cultural and architectural landmarks of the city: The Koutoubia Mosque (only from the outside, as access is restricted to non-Muslims). The Bay Palace, a jewel of Moroccan architecture. The Ben Youssef Medersa, former Koranic school. The Saadian Tombs, with its impressive decoration. The Badi Palace, now in ruins but full of history. Dar el Bacha Museum, Marrakech Museum and Dar Si Said Museum. The Almoravid Koubba, one of the oldest buildings in the city. And, of course, the traditional soukswhere you can explore labyrinthine streets full of colors, aromas and crafts. The guide will explain each place to you, and you can decide which ones you prefer to visit inside and which ones you only want to see from the outside. The route ends in the lively Jamaa el Fna Square, heart of the city, where you will enjoy its unique atmosphere: musicians, street performers, snake charmers and natural juice stalls. After the visit, you will have Lunch on your own in one of the restaurants in the square or surrounding area. In the afternoon you will have leisure to continue exploring the medina, visit gardens or simply relax in the riad. Day 8 Marrakech - Transfer to Marrakech airport

After breakfast, you will have free time to continue enjoying Marrakech at your own pace: explore the corners you have yet to discover, do your last shopping in the souks or simply relax in the riad before departure. At the agreed time, our driver/guide will take you to the Marrakech-Menara Airport to catch your return flight.
