We will cross the spectacular port of Tizi n'Tichka (2,260 m altitude), the highest road pass in North Africa. Its name, of Tamazight origin, means “difficult mountain pass”. Along the route we will make several scenic stops to enjoy the breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains, its valleys and Berber villages, and to take photographs. We will continue south along a particularly picturesque road, lined with Berber villages, until we reach the fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou. There we will have free time to have lunch and visit its spectacular kasbah, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. This unique place has been the setting for numerous international film productions such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander the Great, The Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Prince of Persia either Game of Thronesamong others. After the visit, we will continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the City of Cinema and considered the gateway to the desert.
