Day 1 Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley (350 km)

In the morning, at 08:00 hWe will pick you up at the meeting point to begin the Journey in search of the Three Wise Men through the Moroccan Desert in JanuaryA 5-day journey to the southeast of the country. We will begin by crossing the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi n'Tichka pass, the highest road pass in North Africa with 2,260 meters altitude. His name, in Tamazight, means “difficult mountain pass”. During the journey, we will make several scenic stops to admire the breathtaking views of the valleys and Berber villages, as well as to take photographs. We will visit a Women's argan oil cooperativewhere we will learn about the traditional production process and discover the many health and wellness benefits of argan oil. We will then continue south along a scenic route dotted with Berber villages. At midday we will arrive at... fortified village of Aït Ben Haddouwhere you will have time for lunch and to visit its spectacular KasbahDeclared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, this iconic location has been the setting for numerous international films, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Gladiator (2000), Game of Thrones (2011)among others. After the visit, we will continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the City of Cinema and considered the gateway to the desert. There you can take photos in front of the film studios (optional entry: €8 per person, guide in French and Spanish) or visit the Kasbah of Taourirt (Entrance: €5, optional guide: €10), although the panoramic views are usually sufficient. Afterwards we will explore the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, crossing the oasis of Skouraand we will make a stop at the Valley of the Roses, famous for its festival in May. We will continue our journey through picturesque Berber peoples, like Tinjdad, until reaching MalaabWe'll make a special stop at a shop run by local women. Both children and adults will have the opportunity to dress in traditional Berber clothing and take photos with the Amazigh flag. It will also be a great time to buy handcrafted souvenirs, typical gifts, or desert turbans. Later, we will stop for lunch at Tourougand we will continue towards ErfoudA city known for its marble and fossil crafts. If time permits and you're interested, we can visit a local workshop to learn more about this ancient craft. In the afternoon we will arrive at the impressive Merzouga dunes (Erg Chebbi)where we'll exchange our vehicle for camels (8x8) to enjoy an unforgettable sunset ride across the golden sands, enveloped by the silence and magic of the desert. As the sun sets, we'll arrive at the tent campwhere we will settle in and be able to contemplate one of the most spectacular starry skies in the world. After dinner, we will experience a truly magical and emotional moment: The Three Wise Men will appear in the desert riding on dromedariesPassing by the camp and the bonfire to surprise the children with gifts or collect their letters. Day 3 Merzouga – 4x4 excursion – Nomads – Mifiss Mines – Khamlia – Taouz – Ouzina – Lunch with Berber family – Henna – Sunset in Erg Ouzina (80 km)

At dawnWe will climb a dune to watch the sunrise over Erg ChebbiAn unforgettable spectacle that will fill the morning with magic. After breakfast, we will return to the starting point by camel or 4x4. Optionally, you can enjoy sandboarding on the dunes or perform a quad bike or buggy excursion (Activity not included: single quad €40/h, double €60/h, double buggy €120/h with guide and fuel). Next, we will begin a 4x4 route around the Merzouga desert, touring part of the Dakar Rally track. We will visit the desert nomadswhere we will share a welcome tea; you can contribute with a small tip or purchase some of their handicrafts. We will continue towards the abandoned village of Mifis, a former mining center. From its hills you will enjoy exceptional panoramic views. Today, its lead and kohl mines are still being exploited, with shafts reaching up to 50 meters deep. The route continues towards Khamlia, known as the Gnawa people, descendants of sub-Saharan tribes. There we will enjoy their traditional music and dancesaccompanied by mint tea. It is recommended to leave a tip or purchase a CD of their music. Then we'll go through Taouz and we will set course for the desert of Ouzina. At noon, we will be greeted by a Berber family in their homewhere we will taste a traditional lunchLunch will consist of salad or noodles, Berber pizza, and welcome tea. After lunch, there will be free time to relax, stroll through the oasis, and experience the daily life of the village. There will also be the option to take a... henna tattoo run by a local specialist (tip recommended). In the afternoon, we will settle into a hotel in the middle of the Ouzina desert. Day 4 Ouzina – Taouz – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Nkob (280 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, We will depart for Nkobenjoying a day full of contrasts between desert landscapes, oases and traditional villages. Our first stop will be in Rissani, one of the oldest cities in Morocco and the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty, where the roots of the ancient sultans are found. If we happen to be there on one of their market days (Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday), we will be able to explore its lively soukAlthough it's also open on other days, it's less crowded. The visit will last approximately one hour walkWe will discover local products such as Spices, dates, handicrafts, jewelry, and even animals for sale, an authentic reflection of everyday Moroccan life. Before continuing, we will make a stop to photograph the famous Desert Gate at the city limits. We will continue our route through the pre-desert landscapes of southern Morocco, dotted with Berber peoples. We will arrive at Alnif, where we will take a break for lunch. We will continue the route through the Anti-Atlas Mountainscrossing the Ait Saouen pass (1,660 m)where the mountain scenery will take your breath away. Further on, we'll arrive at Ouarzazate, known as the “gateway to the desert”before resuming our journey back to Marrakech. We will cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m)making stops to enjoy the panoramic views and capture memorable photographs of the valleys and mountains.
