At 08:00 h We will pick you up at the agreed point in Marrakech to begin the 5-day, 4-night excursion for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day towards southeastern Morocco. We will cross the majestic High Atlas Mountainscrossing the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m)The highest road pass in North Africa. Its name comes from Tamazight and means "difficult mountain pass." During the journey, we will make strategic stops to Enjoy the spectacular views and take photographs of the stunning landscapes and valleys. We will also visit a Women's argan oil cooperativewhere we will learn about the artisanal extraction process and its many benefits. We will continue our route south through secondary roads surrounded by Berber villagesuntil reaching Aït Ben Haddou, the most famous fortified ksar in Morocco and declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. Our first stop will be in Rissani, one of the oldest cities in Morocco and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, where the roots of the ancient sultans are found. If we happen to coincide with one of their market days (Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday), we will have the opportunity to tour its lively souk. It's also open on other days, although less busy. During the visit (approximately) 1 hour walk), we will discover local products such as Spices, dates, handicrafts, jewelry, and even animals for sale, an authentic reflection of everyday Moroccan life. Before continuing, we will perform a stop to photograph the famous Desert Gate at the city limits. We will continue our route through the pre-desert landscapes of southern Morocco, dotted with Berber peoples that showcase the essence of the region. We will arrive at Alnif, where we will do a lunch break before continuing towards Nkob, known as the city of 45 kasbahs.
