Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:30 a.m. heading south through Morocco, beginning the adventure of Trekking and hiking in the desert. We will cross the High Atlas through the port of Tizi n'Tichka, to 2,260 meters altitudeperforming several photo stops to admire and capture the spectacular views of mountains and valleys. Optionally, we can visit a Women's argan oil cooperative, where you will learn about the artisanal production of argan products and its many cosmetic, culinary and medicinal properties. We will continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the “gateway to the desert” or “city of cinema”, setting for international films such as Asterix & Obelix, Lawrence of Arabia either Gladiator. We will perform a scenic stop at the film studios to take photographs. We will continue the journey by crossing the Anti-Atlas or Little Atlas, with a scenic stop to admire and photograph the region's unique landscapes. Afterwards, we will descend towards Agdzwhere we will do another stop in the Draa Valley, the longest and most fertile valley in Morocco. We will continue towards Nkob, with the option of having lunch there or continuing on to Alnif before lunch. After lunch, we will head towards Tafraoute (Sidi Ali)where the asphalt ends and a approximately 1 hour walking journey until the camp in the Mziouda desert, surrounded by dunes and stunning arid landscapes. After breakfast, We left the camp in the direction of Ramlia desert. During the journey, we will reach the banks of the Oued Ghrissa river that remains dry for most of the year, except during heavy storms. We will cross approximately 4 km from date to date (fine sand) and then we will cross the large dry lake bordered by tamarisk trees, a unique and spectacular landscape. Next, we will arrive at the foot of the impressive dunes of Ramliawhere the yellow, orange, and red sands rise up, contrasting with the blue sky. This desert, even wilder and more remote than others in the country, offers us an experience of unforgettable trek. During the day we will carry out approximately 6 and a half hours of walking (28 km). We will get up early to Enjoy the sunrise From the highest dune near the camp, a unique experience awaits to contemplate the desert light on the sands. After breakfast, we will continue our trekking walking towards the Tabkhoute oasiswhere we will take a break to have tea and enjoy the surroundings. From there, we will cross the Asguine dunesadmiring the mountainous landscape and observing a red mountain shaped like a tagine to our left. Further on, we will reach the area inhabited by authentic nomadswhere we will learn about their lifestyle and share a welcome tea With them, a unique opportunity to delve into the local culture. After the meeting, we will hold a picnic in the desert and we will continue the trek towards the Ouzina desertEnjoying the sunset over the dunes. The day includes approximately 7 hours of walking between dunes and spectacular landscapes. At the end, we will arrive at hotel in Ouzinawhere you will be able to Enjoy dinner and relax. This day is dedicated to I'm already resting the local culture. We will get up calmly and walk to the village of OuzinaLocated just 2 km from the hotel, we can stroll through its streets and observe how a [unclear - possibly "a local dish" or "a local dish"] is prepared. Berber pizza in a clay ovenlearning about local culinary traditions. Next, we will enjoy this typical food in the house of a Berber familyaccompanied by welcome tea. We will get up for breakfast and continue our trekking and hiking route walking to the village of Jdaid, a small village lost in the middle of the desert, traveling approximately 10 km. In Jdaid we will do a stop at the local storewhere you can rest, have a drink and stroll through the village, getting to know the daily life of its inhabitants. Later, we will be picked up in a vehicle which will take us to Merzouga, re-entering the region of the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, you will have free time at the hotel to rest and enjoy the pool, recovering after days of trekking and hiking in the Sahara Desert of Morocco. After breakfast, we will leave around 7:30 a.m. from the hotel in Merzouga to begin our return to Marrakech. During the tour we will pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils and for the date festival. Our first stop will be in Malaab, where we can visit a local shop run by Berber women. There you will have the opportunity to take photographs with traditional Berber dressesbuy souvenirs and local crafts, or even have a henna tattoo. We will continue our journey through several towns, such as Tinghir and Boumalne Dadesuntil reaching the Valley of the Roses. If you travel during the rose season (first and second week of May), you will be able to enjoy the rose festivalThe rest of the year you can visit one of the local rosewater shops or cooperatives. There you can also make a lunch stop. After lunch, we will continue our journey towards Marrakech, passing through Skoura and Ouarzazatecrossing again the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Finally, we will arrive at Marrakech, the red city, where you will be transferred to your accommodation. In the afternoon, you will have leisure to stroll through the streets of the medina, enjoy the atmosphere of the city and have dinner in one of the local restaurants.
