Then we will continue our route towards Taroudant, located in the fertile valley of the Sous River. Departure from Taroudant at 08:00 h towards southern Morocco, crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains (Alto Sous)with heights ranging between 1,200 and 1,400 m. This area is characterized by its extensive forests of argan trees, which form unique landscapes and are home to the iconic production of argan oil. Our first stop will be in Taliouine, a town of about 6,000 inhabitants, known for being the Morocco's largest saffron production center, also called “Red Gold”. Here you can visit a saffron cooperative and learn about the cultivation and harvesting process of this valuable spice, widely used in local cuisine. A commemorative festival is held in December to celebrate the saffron tradition and the region's rich cultural heritage. We will continue towards Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets and traditional crafts, and we will continue to the imposing Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1987). This fortified town has been the setting for numerous international films, including: Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, Game of Thrones and many more. Day 8 Todra Gorges – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert – Camel Trek – Overnight in a Berber tent camp (215 km)

After breakfast, we will begin the day by visiting again the beautiful Todra Valley. We will do a scenic stop to enjoy the views and take photographs of the spectacular Todra Gorgeswhose vertical walls narrow as we advance. You will have free time to walk along the riverbed inside the gorges before returning to the vehicle at the end of the tour. We will continue our journey through traditional Berber villages, like Tinjdad, until we reach Malaab, where we will stop at a local craft shop run by Berber women. Day 9 Merzouga – 4x4 Excursion – Dakar Rally Track – Desert Nomads – Abandoned Village of Mifis – Khamlia – Taouz – Ouzina Desert (80 km)

The first stop will be with the authentic nomads of the Sahara, where we will share a welcome tea And you'll be able to interact with them and their families. We'll have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and then begin our journey towards Nkob, passing through some of the most authentic landscapes of southern Morocco. Our first stop will be in Rissani, one of the oldest cities in the country and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, capital of former sultans. If we happen to be there on a market day (Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday), we can visit the local souk for approximately one hour.
