This impressive structure is located in the Boulevard Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah, in the Aïn Diab area, and was erected under the reign of Hassan II, the second monarch of Morocco after the country's independence from the French Protectorate. We will make a brief 15-minute stop in the central square to take photos and stroll through this picturesque town. We will continue towards the Michlifen Cedar Foresthome to wild monkeys. We will continue with the Middle Atlas Mountains until reaching MideltKnown as the “apple city,” Midelt sits at an altitude of 1,488 meters, nestled between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas mountains, on the banks of a small river that flows into the Moulouya Valley oasis. With approximately 45,000 inhabitants, Midelt is a regional center in the Draa-Tafilalet region. Here we will undertake a lunch stop, enjoying the local cuisine and a short break before continuing our route.
